This Institute is designed to help arbitration advocates develop proficiency in the ever-evolving world of arbitration. Experienced practitioners will roundtable “Addressing the Challenges of Unethical Conduct in Arbitration by Advocates, Parties, Witnesses and Arbitrators.” Other topics include, “The Mechanics of Virtual and Hybrid Proceedings, Protocols, and the Greener Arbitration Pledge,” an “Update on Arbitration Law” and “Is there a Place for Artificial Intelligence in Arbitration?” A panel of renowned arbitrators will discuss “How Attorneys can Improve the Process and Their Advocacy in Arbitration: A View from the Panel”, and the Institute will conclude with a panel discussion of “Follow the Money: How to Obtain An Award of Damages, Costs and Other Expenses of the Arbitration Proceeding.” This is the Second Arbitration Institute sponsored by the ADR Section of the Florida Bar, and 17 outstanding presenters have volunteered to help with this virtual Institute.
