This program is a can't miss for both new and experienced guardianship practitioners. It will highlight the procedures, potential traps, ethical dilemmas, and litigation tactics that can arise when handling guardianship and incapacity matters. There will be presentations on jurisdictional issues, exploitation, the ethics surrounding representing clients with capacity issues, a legislative and case law update for the ages spanning the last 25 years of important cases in the guardianship realm, and a panel on the role and responsibilities of the Court Appointed Attorney and how best to work with them.
