This presentation will address health care providers’ involvement in various state investigations, and its impact on subsequent and concurrent litigation. This seminar will also provide litigators and trial lawyers with practical advice and considerations in responding to investigations, questions from investigators, and how to manage discovery requests with an eye toward how these investigations will impact litigation. The CLE will address the best practices within existing case law and helpful strategies that may not be apparent at the inception of an investigation.
